The appellants, Jennifer Marie Pappas and Jan Elizabeth Vise, were convicted of two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon by a jury of their peers. The trial court sentenced the appellants to a term of fifteen (15) years in the Department of Corrections in each case. After the appellants motions for a new trial were overruled by the trial court they appealed to this Court as of right pursuant to Rule 3(b), Tenn. R. Crim. P.
